The Forgotten I AM

So many folks, pastors included, write corny little pieces about the Seven I AM’s of Jesus. It even appears as cute little memes. It usually is stated with an air of total authority, yet remain incomplete. Ditto the many sermons delivered on this topic.

Without fail, these exclude the most important I AM of all. Do they try to deny Jesus for Who He is?

JOHN 8:56-59 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” 59Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

  1. I suppose you WOULD believe that as Jimmy and I were out with friends at dinner last night, this very topic was discussed in DETAIL 🙂 And this is the exact Scripture reference Jimmy used to solidify his stance on Who Jesus really is.

You just have to love confirmation!
